The slowest time knife by A. Lange & Söhne concentrates the essential features of a Lange watch at an overall height of only 5.9 millimeters. After their performance in January 2016, the Saxonia Thin is now available in red or white gold in two sizes.
With the Saxonia Thin, A. Lange & Söhne expanded the watch family Saxonia in 2011 with a model, which due to its clear lines and elegant charisma is in the tradition of this watch line. In addition, it is the hitherto thinnest model within the entire collection. Five years after its premiere, the elegant two-time watch now features a discreet reworked dial, which corresponds to the current design of the Saxonia watch family. Compared to the predecessor model, the indices of solid gold were lengthened a bit and moved closer to the bezel. Thus the argenté dial made of solid silver received an even more striking charisma.
The new Saxonia Thin was introduced in January 2016 at the Geneva Clock. Now it is available in red and white gold, optionally with a housing diameter of 37 or 40 millimeters.
In both versions, the hand-held calibrator L093.1, which is only 2.9 millimeters high, ticks with the distinctive markings of all parts. Among its classic quality features are the three-piece platinum-plated silver plate, decorated with glash-nut strips, the wheels of the lift, which are refined with a sunburst, three screwed gold chelts and the hand-engraved balance cock.
